Booking constraints

For the terms of payment and cancellations which you have previously defined for room rates and additional services, you can now enter description texts your guest will see in the WBE.

Names and descriptions

The texts for terms of payment and cancellation are retrieved from protel SD. However, they can be edited in the Cloud Center.

The short name cannot be changed in the protel Cloud Center though.

Point out to your guests that cancellations also need to be executed by means of the WBE 5, if they are to remain free-of-charge. Only if the guest directly cancels their booking by means of WBE 5, will protel be able to reimburse the booking charges to your hotel! The guest must set up an account in the WBE, in order to be able to edit his reservations in the WBE. Also point out to your guest that cancellation fees will be charged if the guest does not personally cancel their booking  in the WBE.

Note For reservations in protel WBE where the guest is not the booker, the booker's guest profile will be attached to the reservation as a source profile. Do not change the email address within the source profile and do not delete the source profile from the reservation! Source profile in the Navigator in protel FO   Otherwise, the booker will no longer be able to cancel their reservation by means of protel WBE. If a reservation is not cancelled by the guest via protel WBE, the booking fees will not be able to be credited accordingly.
