Attention!

The protel Air upgrade in Summer 2020 brought about changes to the user interface and also to many functions.

You can find the updated instructions for them in the new protel Air Online Help.

Please note: The migration process is still ongoing. Therefore you may still be able to use some functions as described in this Online Help.

For this reason, we will not delete this Online Help yet.

Allotments

[Lists > Allotments]

The allotments list gives you an overview of all of the allotments which have been generated in protel Air.

Filter functions

With the aid of the filter functions, you can limit the displayed departures based on certain criteria.

Additional information about the filtering possibilities in the active list can be found here.

Refresh display

As soon as you change filter criteria in a list, you will have to refresh the display.

hit the <Enter> key to do so, or
click on the magnifying glass at the top right of the window to update the display.

Meaning of the columns

Status

= allotment has expired

= allotment is available/active

From / To

Time span within which the allotment list is to be accessed.

Keyword

Keyword / code to be indicated when reserving this room allotment.

Contact person

Point of contact when booking the allotment

Preselected room types. Several reserved room types ware separated by a slash "/".

Number of rooms

Number of preselected rooms. With several preselected room types, the Number per room type will be shown separated by a slash "/" (e.g., 2 / 2)

Total rooms

Total amount of preselected rooms.

Occupied

Number of rooms which have already been booked for the allotment.

Available

Number of rooms, which are currently available for the allotment (total number of already booked rooms).

Name

Name of the allotment. The name is assigned when the allotment is created.

Deducting

= The allotment is a deducting allotment.

= The allotment is a non deducting allotment.

Expiration Mode

Date = The allotment has a fixed date of expiry: The allotment expires on the provided Expiry date and can no longer be booked as of this date.

# Days = The allotment has a dynamic date of expiry (x days before arrival)

Expiration date / -days

For a quota of rooms with a fixed date of expiry, the date when this allotment expires will appear hear.

For an allotment with a dynamic date of expiry, the Number of days before arrival (expiry period) on which this allotment expires will appear.

Open for pickup

= The allotment is open for pickup, which means that rooms can be named and reserved from the allotment.

= The allotment is NOT open for pickup, e.g., if no contract has been signed yet. You cannot book any rooms from this allotment.
