Current and future reservations can be opened for editing in protel Air at any time. Where you open a reservation depends on various factors. Do you know the name of the booker? Or do you have a reservation number at hand? Maybe you just only know the arrival date...
Whatever the situation, there are numerous ways to open and edit a reservation in protel Air:
If you know the room number or room name and an approximate date of the stay, the easiest is to open and edit the reservation in the room plan.
Call up the room plan for the respective date and search for links by means of the room bar.
Double-clicking on the reservation opens the reservation summary dialog box.

Active lists are very helpful if you only know certain parameters of the reservation that you would like to edit. If you know the arrival date, use the Arrivals list. If the guest has already checked in, use the In-house list. It is always recommended to search in the Reservation list, as it includes all reservations in the system.
Double-click the reservation to open and edit it.

In the guest search (Menu > Profiles) you can directly search for a guest’s name. Just enter the name (or just a couple letters included in the name) and click on the Magnifying glass or press “Enter.” All of the guests with this name will now be displayed on your results list. Select the guest you’ve been looking for and continue with “Continue with guest profile.”
Afterwards, the guest profile opens. In the tab “Reservation” tab, you’ll find all of the past, current, and open reservations for this guest.
Double-click the reservation to open and edit it.
No matter which way you chose to open
the reservation you’ll always end up in the reservation summary dialog
box in which you can edit the reservation as you choose.
